Email Hosting provides professional mailboxes on the Customer’s domain, with the features and limits of the selected plan, such as IMAP, POP3, SMTP, webmail, anti-spam, DNS assistance and migration where included.
Total storage, account numbers, attachment limits and other technical limits are those shown on the product page and in the Custom Client Area.
Authenticated email must be sent using the ports and security methods specified by Domain Market. Outgoing port 25 may be blocked for security or anti-spam reasons. The usual authenticated ports are 587/TLS or 465/SSL, where supported by the plan.
Domain Market does not guarantee that every message will reach the inbox. Deliverability is affected by SPF, DKIM, DMARC, reputation, content, recipient policies and third-party mail providers.
Anti-spam filters may produce false positives or false negatives. The Customer must check spam folders and quarantine and use secure credentials.
Unsolicited bulk email, phishing, malware distribution, email bombing and use of compromised accounts are prohibited. Outbound sending may be restricted immediately where abuse or a serious risk to reputation arises.
Migration from another provider is carried out on a reasonable-efforts basis and requires access to the old mailboxes or servers. Transfer of data no longer held by the previous provider is not guaranteed.
Backups and restores are provided in accordance with the plan. The Customer must keep additional copies of critical correspondence.
The initial Email Hosting purchase is covered by the 100-day guarantee only where expressly stated on the product page and/or in the Order.
After expiry or cancellation, access to mailboxes may be suspended and data deleted after the applicable retention period.
Backup policy by platform and account suspension
Where a hosting plan includes a backup service, the following policy applies according to the platform on which the service is provided, as identified in the Order or the customer's management interface.
Aegean Panel: four (4) backup runs are scheduled daily, with a rolling retention period of thirty (30) days. Backup times depend on the hosting server and are expressed in Greece's local time.
cPanel: one (1) full account backup is scheduled each night, together with one (1) additional backup of all the account's databases at midday. These backups have a rolling retention period of fourteen (14) days. The midday backup covers databases and is not a second full account backup.
For hosting provided through cPanel, the four (4) most recent backups taken at fifteen-day intervals are also retained at a storage location separate from that used for the daily backups described above.
Retention is rolling: backups exceeding the applicable period or the specified number of retained copies are removed according to the applicable policy. The full history builds up gradually after the service is activated or the retention period is increased. Available restore points correspond to successfully created backups and the content covered by each backup.
Account suspension: no new backups are created while an account is suspended. This rule applies to both Aegean Panel and cPanel and covers all the backups described above, including copies at the second storage location. Suspension does not extend the retention of existing backups; they remain subject to the applicable retention and deletion cycle.
If reactivation of the account is permitted and takes place, scheduled backups resume without retrospectively covering the period of suspension. Section 15 of the General Terms applies to restoration, the customer's obligation to maintain independent backups and Domain Market's corresponding obligations.
Prohibition on newsletters and advertising emails — indefinite suspension
Using any Domain Market plan or service, whether free or paid, to send newsletters, advertising emails or promotional emails is expressly prohibited, with Email Marketing plans as the sole exception. This prohibition applies regardless of recipient count, sending frequency or recipient consent and covers all sending methods, including SMTP, webmail, scripts, applications, CMS plugins and automations.
These messages may be sent exclusively through the sending infrastructure of an Email Marketing plan, subject to its specific terms, plan limits and the Acceptable Use Policy. Holding an Email Marketing plan does not permit using another plan or service for these messages.
Any service account found to have been used to send messages in breach of this prohibition will be suspended indefinitely, with no possibility of lifting the suspension, reactivating the account or restoring it to operation. Subsequently stopping the messages or removing the relevant software or recipient lists does not lift the suspension.
